This page explains how "Online MIDI Player" (mid-player.online, "this site") handles information while you use it. This site is a tool that runs entirely in your browser, and it is designed to collect as little data as possible.
1. What we do not collect
- We do not upload your MIDI files. Files you choose or drag in are read and parsed locally by your browser and are never sent to any server. After you close or reload the page, the file contents are not retained by this site.
- No registration or login. There is no account system, and we do not collect names, phone numbers or email addresses.
- No profiling. This site does not build user profiles and does not track your browsing on other websites.
2. Information stored in your browser
This site uses browser localStorage to store one setting: your interface language preference (key i18n-lang, value zh or en). It exists so that your chosen language persists on your next visit. This data stays on your own device; this site cannot read it on other devices and does not upload it.
Clearing your browser data removes this entry and does not affect any other feature.
3. Third-party services
This site uses the following third-party services, which may process technical information under their own privacy policies:

This site is served through Cloudflare, which automatically records access logs (such as IP address, time of access, requested path and browser identifier). These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and traffic statistics. This site does not link them to personal identities and does not sell them or use them for ad targeting.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because there is no account system and no identity information is collected, such data is not normally generated. If you are a guardian, please note that there is no children's personal data to access, correct or delete here — none was ever collected.
7. Data security
This site stores no user files and has no user database, so there is no risk of files leaking through a database breach. Please note that when you access this site over a public network, your network provider may still record your activity; that relationship is between you and your provider.
8. Your rights
Because this site does not collect identifiable personal information, there is normally no account data to export or delete. To clear settings this site stored on your device, clear the site data for mid-player.online in your browser. For questions about advertising cookies, follow the steps in section 4.
